The futures spread increased by 1495bps to 8.06 percent on the last day of the outgoing week. Trading activities on the futures counter improved significantly as average daily volumes increased by 75.4 percent to 123.87 million shares as compared to previous week's average of 70.61 million shares.

The average daily trading value on the futures counter increased by 56.2 percent to Rs 4.156 billion during this week as compared to previous week's average of Rs 2.661 billion.
